The centrifugal high-pressure ammonia pump stopped operating suddenly; no abnormalities were detected in the trend data. Experts, please help analyze the cause.
To determine whether the trip was caused by pump gas entrapment, you can refer to the current trend line.

1. Check whether the instrument interlock has activated or triggered erroneously. 2. Electrical reasons, such as incorrect operation of the switch or activation of the thermal protection. 3. There is a problem with the circuit; actions in other areas can cause the ammonia pump to malfunction. 4. This post was last edited by lxq700918 on 2009-5-6 at 20:13. It’s likely a interlock issue; our factory encountered one as well, but it couldn’t be detected on the curve graph. It is presumed that this is due to the long recording time, so the recording time should be shortened for further observation.

1# Rappher: Our situation is similar to yours. The only difference is that the pump we had issues with today was a reciprocating ammonium pump; it showed no symptoms at all and suddenly stopped working, and it was not possible to identify any patterns from checking the trends. The oil pressure and oil level are normal, the current is normal, and the load is normal. It was only later that we found out it was because of maintenance work on our ammonia pump (reciprocating type); when the pump was started, the ammonium pump stopped working. The specific reason remains unknown. I hope everyone will continue the discussion below.
It should be a trip caused by overcurrent electrical protection; this situation has already occurred.
