Our factory has a transmitter from Rosemount with the model number starting with 2088 A2, which is used to measure gauge pressure. I checked, and it is a gauge pressure transmitter.
Absolute pressure = gauge pressure + atmospheric pressure; that should work
Gauge pressure should be measurable; just set the range during configuration. But isn’t it a bit of a waste?

I have another question: for this model of pressure gauge, one measures absolute pressure while the other measures gauge pressure. Are their sensors the same, or is it only the circuit board that differs?

Gauge pressure for 0~1.0 MPa? Rich. It’s better to use a gauge with a range of -0.1 to 0.9 MPa; if it can measure gauge pressure, then the reading obtained minus 1 kilogram gives the gauge pressure
