What you’re referring to is probably the distillation and separation of crude oil; a regular distillation tower will do for this purpose, with multiple side streams produced – gasoline at the top of the tower, followed by kerosene and diesel. There is no reboiler at the bottom of the tower; instead, high-temperature steam is used for stripping

It is recommended to first find a book on oil refining and understand the principles before attempting simulations; otherwise, the simulations will be confusing. Simulation is merely a computational tool, not an end in itself.
Atmospheric and vacuum distillation is a very typical unit, with several mid-stage reflux streams on the main tower as well as several side streams from which products are extracted. A standard distillation column model can be used for the main tower, while a simple column model is sufficient for the side-line stripping column; the material stream from the side line can simply be led out through the corresponding section of the main tower. The side line is not virtual logistics.
I offer this suggestion for your reference: if you are analyzing the existing crude oil distillation tower and can use the available production data, you can directly apply a complex tower model; If you are designing a new tower, first use a simplified tower model to perform calculations and ensure proper material balance as well as the correct feeding location ; And then calculate using the complex tower model ; Additionally, the data must be accurate and complete.
