For some posts where the questions have been answered and solutions are available, it’s rather troublesome to change the tags such as discussion or request for help to \"solved\". As I know, one has to edit the post first, then find the corresponding \"solved\" entry, and finally edit and submit it.
At the bottom of the section’s homepage, there is a “Topic Classification” button; moderators can check the boxes next to the topic posts to classify them, or they can select multiple posts at once for batch processing. The original poster is referring to the handling method for regular members; these two approaches can be used together.
