Commencement of operation: 1. Before starting up, check whether the equipment, pipes, valves, and instruments are in proper condition for operation, and verify that the water seals and the bottom of the tower are filled with water. 2. Open the dispersion pipe and introduce steam or nitrogen for cleaning. 3. When a large amount of steam or nitrogen emerges from the vent pipe, close the steam or nitrogen purge valve. Slightly open the gas outlet valve to replace the nitrogen in the outlet pipeline with gas ; Slightly open the gas inlet valve to displace the nitrogen in the tower with gas ; When a large amount of gas emerges from the top of the tower, close the valve of the vent pipe at the top of the tower ; 4. Notify the control room and blower operators to pay attention to changes in pressure behind the machine; open all gas inlet and outlet valves, and close the gas bypass valves. 5. Start the circulation water pump of the pre-cooling tower, check the outlet water condition, and contact the primary cooling section to open the valve for adding ammonia, thereby supplying ammonia to the pre-cooling tower. At the same time, adjust the cooling water in the ammonia cooler to ensure that the temperature of the added ammonia meets the technical requirements. 6. Adjust the cooling water in the circulating liquid cooler to ensure that the gas temperature meets the technical specifications ; Open the discharge valve for the pre-cooling circulating water, and adjust the liquid level in the pre-cooling tower to meet the technical specifications. 7. Contact the ammonia vaporization unit to introduce ammonia vapor into the pre-cooling tower. Shut down: 1. Notify the control room and the fan operators to pay attention to changes in the pressure behind the machine; contact the ammonia vaporization unit, close the ammonia valve leading to the pre-cooling tower, then open the gas bypass pipe and close the gas inlet and outlet valves. 2. Stop the circulation pump and close the pump outlet valve. Contact the primary cooling section to stop supplying the remaining ammonia water to the pre-cooling tower, and cease the supply of cooling water to the ammonia water heat exchanger. 3. Drain any remaining liquid from the equipment and pipelines; be careful to prevent freezing in winter. 4. When maintenance is required, open the vent pipe valve and introduce steam for cleaning until large amounts of steam emerge from the vent pipe. Then close the steam cleaning valve and open the manhole on the tower for ventilation. Only after a safety inspection confirms that everything is fine can one enter the tower.
