1. Operations in case of sudden power outage 1.1 Shutting off high-voltage power 1.1.1 Immediately cut off the power supply to the blower after a power outage, and quickly close the inlet valve of the blower. If the large circulation pipe is in the open state, it needs to be closed. 1.1.2 Set the main motor switch to the shutdown position, change the hydraulic coupling control to manual mode, bring the actuator back to its zero position, and wait for power to be restored in order to start the machine; make all preparations necessary before power is available. 1.1.3 Notify the riser and relevant subsequent positions in a timely manner. 1.1.4 Contact the control room and the shift supervisor to find out the cause of the power outage and its duration. 1.1.5 If the power outage is short, make preparations to resume operations once power is restored; if the outage is long, the gas outlet valve of the blower should also be closed, and other procedures should follow those for normal shutdowns. Be careful to prevent freezing in winter. 1.2 Shutdown of Low-Voltage Power 1.2.1 The low-voltage power supply for the blower is provided by two separate power sources; if one of these sources fails, the other can supply power automatically. 1.2.2 If both power supplies fail, immediately press the stop button of the fuel supply pump and close the pump’s outlet valve. 1.2.3 Contact the control room and the shift supervisor to find out the cause of the power outage and its duration, and inform the rising pipe to prepare for shutdown. 1.2.4 If power supply can be restored immediately, start the fuel supply pump promptly. 1.2.5 If recovery is not possible immediately, it can be treated as a normal shutdown; take precautions against freezing in winter. 1.2.6 If the blower stops operating due to a power outage in the low-pressure control circuit, it shall be treated as an emergency shutdown. 2. Sudden water cut-off procedure 2.1 Contact the dispatch team to find out how long the water supply will be interrupted. 2.2 Pay close attention to changes in the oil temperature of the blower, the blower motor, the hydraulic coupling, and the transmission; if the temperature exceeds the specified limits, stop the blower immediately. 2.3 In the event of a short-term water outage, operations will resume once water supply is restored; in the case of a long-term outage, it will be treated as a shutdown. 2.4 The cooling water for the oil cooler in this position can be supplied separately from three sources: circulating water, industrial water, and low-temperature water. When one of these sources stops being used, the cooling water can be supplied by the other two sources. 3. The blower operator has the right to shut down the machine urgently in any of the following situations: 3.1 There are obvious sounds of metal impact or friction inside the casing. 3.2 The unit suddenly experienced severe vibration, with the vibration amplitude exceeding 0.12 mm. 3.3 When smoking is observed at any bearing, bearing bush, or seal. 3.4 When the bearing temperature rises at a rate of 1–2°C/min and exceeds the specified limit, and cannot be reduced even after taking various measures. 3.5 There is an oil leak in the oil system that cannot be resolved, and both the oil pressure and oil level are dropping rapidly. 3.6 If the axial displacement of the blower rotor exceeds 0.5 mm, and this displacement continues to increase despite various measures being taken ; 3.7 The blower current rises rapidly and remains above the rated current without falling. 3.8 The oil temperature or pressure of the hydraulic coupler exceeds the specified values, and it cannot be addressed in a timely manner. 3.9 When the coal gas pipeline in front of the machine catches fire. 4. System fire 4.1 In the event of a fire or explosion in the gas system ahead of the blower, the machine should be stopped immediately, and a large amount of steam should be introduced into the gas pipeline system. 4.2 In the event of a fire or explosion in the gas system downstream of the blower, the gas pressure should be reduced immediately, but not below 500 Pa; it should be restored only after the incident is resolved. 5. Gas leakage 5.1 In the blower room, in case of gas leakage, the ventilation fans inside should be turned on first; when there is a risk of poisoning, the load must be reduced. 5.2 In the event of a leak in the gas system ahead of the machine, power to the electrostatic tar catcher should be stopped immediately; protective gear against toxins must be worn to locate the leak site, which must then be repaired promptly. 5.3 In the event of a leak in the gas system behind the machine, wear appropriate gas protection equipment to locate the leak and address it promptly; if necessary, reduce the load on the blower. 6. In the following situations, adjustments to the gas large circulation pipe may be made upon consultation with the dispatch team, and the coke oven shall be notified. 6.1 When the amount of gas used for new projects is low. 6.2 During normal operation, if the amount of gas used is insufficient, it can cause severe vibration of the machine (0.04 mm) or the generation of abnormal noises.
