Currently, the compound fertilizers available on the market can be divided into 10 major categories. 1. Inorganic compound fertilizers. That is, inorganic chemical fertilizers made by physical or chemical methods and containing nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, or two of these nutrients. 2. Organic-inorganic compound fertilizers. That is, products made by adding large amounts of organic matter such as cake fertilizer, bone meal, animal excrement, peat, etc., to inorganic compound fertilizers. 3. Compound fertilizers containing trace elements. Currently, the packaging of many manufacturers indicates the presence of trace elements such as boron and zinc. 4. Rare earth-containing compound fertilizers. It refers to compound fertilizers containing certain rare earth elements, such as rare earth ammonium carbonate. 5. Apply compound fertilizer by spraying. They are divided into two main categories: powder and liquid. They contain certain amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and trace elements; they require a high degree of water solubility, with insoluble matter levels below 5%. 6. Liquid compound fertilizers. Such products are more common in Europe and the United States, where they are mainly used for root fertilization via liquid fertilizer applicators or irrigation systems. 7. Compound fertilizers containing microorganisms. It mainly refers to the addition of various bacterial strains to organic-inorganic compound fertilizers. 8. Compound fertilizers containing pesticides. It refers to compound fertilizers containing a certain amount of pesticides, mainly herbicidal pesticides. 9. Humic acid-containing compound fertilizers. Humic acid has a certain stimulating effect on plant root growth, but due to its high cost, not many manufacturers include it in compound fertilizers. 10. Other compound fertilizers. Fertilizers such as magnetic fertilizers refer mainly to compound fertilizers that have been magnetized using special magnetization devices, resulting in a significant reduction in their total nutrient content; the efficacy of these fertilizers remains uncertain at present.
