Is there any relationship between the conversion of sulfur content in coal and the heating temperature?
This issue is worthy of study. Generally speaking, 65%-75% of the coal enters the coke, and it is less affected by the heating system (it can only be said that high temperatures will speed up desulfurization, and the influence of the heating system is generally ignored in model predictions). It mainly depends on the sulfur content in the coal.
Temperature has the greatest impact on the precipitation and transformation of organic sulfur, which is more significant than pyrite sulfur. Normally, aliphatic sulfur is released at 300 degrees, and aromatic organic sulfur is released at around 400 degrees. ； Secondly, the pyrite sulfur is around 400 degrees. Thiophene organic sulfur is released at around 500 degrees, while sulfate sulfur is released at a higher temperature. Therefore, most of the sulfur remaining in coke is mainly thiophene sulfur and sulfate sulfur in organic sulfur!
There shouldn't be a direct relationship. It has to do with the amount of organic sulfur in total sulfur.
It doesn't matter much and can generally be ignored in calculations.
