Whenever the granulation tower is stopped for cleaning, a melt pump is generally used to inject the condensate, but there are always areas that cannot be reached, which poses a risk to safe production. What methods do fellow industry professionals use to clean the granulation tower thoroughly?
On the top platform inside the granulation tower, rubber hoses are attached to long bamboo poles, and cold liquid is used for flushing, allowing access to every area.
Our company has always removed the granulator, used a condensate pump to supply water, and inserted rubber hoses through the holes in the granulator to clean it thoroughly.
Our company uses fire-fighting water for flushing, and the fire department is responsible for it.
