Is the JX-300XP model the one commonly used in Zhejiang University’s ZHKD DCS? Can the configurational data for 300XP* be used with the original JX-300? What about configuration* software? It seems that most of what’s said on the forum refers to materials worth 300.
Sure, it’s basically universal. XP adds a picture-in-picture feature, and the module just has one extra element – overall, it feels similar.
The basic configuration is similar, but the 300XP includes an additional secondary calculation configuration; its flowcharting function is more advanced and user-friendly. Communication features incorporate the concept of an operation network, while the control algorithm remains the same as that of the 300X. If you only want to learn the *algorithm, 300X is a good choice; for learning configuration, 300XP is preferable
The 300XP from Zhongkong has replaced the 300X system and the ECS-100 system as the main product offered on the market. It is recommended that the original poster look for training materials related to the 300XP, as there are indeed differences between it and the 300X.
The 300XP from Zhongkong has replaced the 300X system; since 2005, Zhongkong has stopped producing the JX-300X. There are significant differences between the XP model and the 300X in terms of hardware. In terms of software, there are little differences between the ECS100, XP, and 300X models.
