When drying the furnace, it is necessary to increase the temperature strictly in accordance with the heating curve provided by the lining manufacturer. Additionally, it is advisable to use temporary thermocouples instead of regular ones, as there is a high amount of steam during furnace drying, and the use of regular thermocouples can easily cause the corundum casing to crack.
