I agree with what was said above; repeated temperature increases have a significant impact on the catalyst, as the catalyst is highly dependent on temperature, and this could lead to its denaturation
Over the past few years, due to poor market conditions, we have had to park the vehicle for long periods of time on many occasions, and we have also used diesel fuel several times; we haven’t noticed any negative effects! It’s estimated that there should be an impact, but it’s not noticeable.
It is recommended to use a preheater for heating, as this method has less impact on the catalyst due to the way heating is carried out; the catalyst comes into direct contact with dry air!
Using natural gas would have less of an impact than diesel, right?
