Of course, choose ammonia stop valve. Temperature resistance -40 degrees, nominal pressure 25MPa.
25MPa? That high? Hot ammonia? The saturated vapor pressure of liquid ammonia at 36°C is po1.38MPa. The saturated vapor pressure of liquid ammonia at 60°C is about 2.5797MPa. The valve pressure level selected for low-temperature liquid ammonia is 2.5MPa, right?
A ball valve that meets the pressure of the tanker, is suitable for the temperature of liquid ammonia, and is easy to close quickly should be used.
This post was last edited by zhchty on 2009-5-20 17:08. The cut-off valve for liquid ammonia loading should be a special ball valve for liquid ammonia. The pressure should be 4.0MPa. The 2.5MPa one is a bit small.
