What are some good design and construction companies for floating roof tanks? Could fellow sailors please recommend some sources? Are there complete sets of blueprints available for reference? This post was last edited by beileim1 on 2009-4-16 12:31]
Floating roof tanks are common devices used for storing various liquid substances, and they come in two types: internal floating roofs and external floating roofs. There are series available for reference in the design, and the manufacturing and installation are relatively simple, not very complex. However, different media and storage conditions require different design specifications; it’s not possible to use the same set of drawings for everything.
Our company plans to use an internal floating roof. Are there any drawings for it?
An internal floating roof is a standard type of equipment; generally, no design drawings are required. The manufacturer will carry out calculations based on the actual operating conditions, and then determine the number of floaters as well as their placement. There are many types of floating platforms, generally including mesh type, well type, umbrella type, etc. So there are no standard drawings
Are there any manufacturers that offer this? Thank you first
Yes, I can provide it if you need it; I just don’t know where you are from
General construction companies can carry out production on-site.
