However, clause 7.2.2 of SH3059-2001 stipulates that ball valves, plug valves, and other special valves with general structures used for process materials as well as pipelines carrying extremely or highly hazardous media and flammable media shall have fire-resistant and anti-static designs. If there are no hard particles in the medium and the temperature is not high, a soft-sealed ball valve can be used; it is necessary to ensure fire and static electricity protection.
Domestic PTFE cannot withstand temperatures of 250 degrees; it is said that even the reinforced versions cannot remain at such temperatures for long, as it poses a risk to PPL as well. Fire prevention, static electricity prevention, and leakage prevention – these three features are essential for high-quality valves these days. You might as well use hard-sealed ball valves and plug valves; the manufacturing techniques are good enough nowadays. The prerequisite is that you have no money problems. :lol
