We do it by hand. Is there any good method?
For CAD drawings created manually, statistics can only be calculated manually; however, for line diagrams generated by software, automatic calculation is possible. I’m not sure if there are any CAD plugins for this purpose. . .
The problem is that the accuracy cannot be guaranteed
Use software; there aren’t any particularly good plugins, you can try PDmax
Convert the CAD material list into Excel, and then use Excel for statistics? Hehe, I used to do it manually; I wonder if anyone else has any good methods?

We use software to generate ISO drawings, with accuracy down to the millimeter level – who knows how it does the calculations; P. Of course, whether using software or doing it manually, accuracy is essential, as the ISO drawings serve as the most direct guide for plumbers when cutting materials and carrying out installations. If the ISO drawings are inaccurate, plumbers will have to keep measuring and making corrections on site, which is a great waste of time. Some factories have now started to use prefabrication in pipeline construction; the cutting of pipes and some of the assembly work are carried out in specialized pipe processing plants, where the pipes are cut to size before being transported to the construction site for final assembly. Foreign projects all use this method, as it allows for faster installation, keeps the site clean and organized, and saves materials. However, it requires high precision in dimensions; if there is too much discrepancy between the drawings and the actual conditions on site, construction cannot proceed and the pipes have to be made again, which is very wasteful.
LZ uses CAD to create single-line drawings. Is a pipe outlet section table provided? It is recommended to create the pipe section table in Excel. That would be very convenient statistical material. Manual counting is truly painful.
