I would like to ask the experts: there is a tower on site, and the manufacturer forgot to provide an access port; the construction team on site created one. The operating pressure of this tower isn’t very high, but the required corrosion allowance is substantial. A hydrostatic test cannot be carried out on site, and the tower itself also needs heat treatment. So what tests are necessary? Is 100% radiographic testing sufficient?

Hehe, one of our company’s cryogenic high-pressure equipment had its sealing done incorrectly by the manufacturer; there was no other choice but to re-seal it. The sealing area is checked regularly, and the equipment has been in use for 7 or 8 years now.
If it is a pressure vessel, it is not possible to make holes in it casually; the manufacturer must provide a certificate, and this requires certification and registration by agencies such as the Special Equipment Inspection Institute, among others. This is still in the process of being done

First, register with the special inspection agency, and then conduct 100% flaw detection on the welds. As for heat treatment, some method of local heat treatment must be found to address the issue.
