Everyone, I’m not quite clear on certain provisions in the GB50160-1992 Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises. Who should I turn to for advice? Thank you for your advice!
You can take a look at the explanatory notes at the end of the specifications. If it still can’t help you figure it out, then take the specific terms and consult the classmates at Haichuan.
The regulations specify which entity is responsible for providing interpretations; it might be Luoyang Institute.
There is already a 2008 version of GB50160; I hope all colleagues will actively study the new standards!
One should study *GB50160-200B; it has been in effect since July 1, 2009
There is a new version of the design fire protection code for petrochemical enterprises, the 2008 edition; the old one has been repealed. Stop studying the old version.
For any standard that is unclear or has issues in its implementation, you can send a letter to the organization responsible for developing the standard and ask the developers to provide explanations; they will respond to you in writing. I have only encountered written responses so far; I’m not sure whether it’s possible to get answers by phone. Oral explanations may lack a basis, so it’s better to use written communication.
Thank you all! I just learned via text message that the post had been rated, so I came to take a look and saw that so many kind friends had already answered my questions. The latest version of the specifications was also found. I’m very happy. Thank you again!
The new version is also set to be implemented on July 1st
