I plan to take the basic exam for Certified Chemical Engineer this year; my classmate (who has already passed the exam) said that mastering advanced mathematics and principles of chemical engineering is sufficient. Could someone tell me the proportion of each school? Thank you!
Here are the proportions allocated to each subject. Morning exam: 1. Mathematics (20% of questions) 2. Thermodynamics (9% of questions) 3. General Chemistry (14% of questions) 4. Engineering Mechanics (15% of questions) 5. Electrical Engineering (10% of questions) 6. Fluid Mechanics (8% of questions) 7. Computers and Numerical Methods (12% of questions) 8. Concepts of Engineering Economics (6% of questions) 9. Professional Ethics (6% of questions). Afternoon exam: 1. Physical Chemistry (20% of questions) 2. Principles of Chemical Engineering (50% of questions) 3. Process Control (6% of questions) 4. Fundamentals of Chemical Engineering Design (15% of questions) 5. Pollution Prevention and Control in Chemical Engineering (9% of questions)
With so much content, how deep are the exam questions? I want to give it a try too
