Are there any special requirements for the girth weld when assembling the tower on site? This tower does not require heat treatment, but the tower wall is a composite layer. It only requires 100% radiographic inspection to pass Level II?
The composite plate tower definitely does not need heat treatment. There should be no requirements other than passing 100% radiographic inspection level II. In addition, attention should be paid to the position of the longitudinal weld connecting the two cylinders.
Composite panels do not necessarily need heat treatment. There are drawings for on-site assembly welding. Just check based on the drawings. You can’t tell that simply from your post.
