I work in production at a chemical plant; can I take the exam to become a registered chemical engineer? ? I checked online; some say it’s possible, while others claim that one must work at a design institute. If you have just graduated, you can first apply for an assistant position at a **specialized organization; once you have three years of work experience in that field, you can apply to become an intermediate engineer. The title of senior engineer is obtained by passing an examination.

There are no requirements for the basic course exams; presumably there are restrictions on the specialized course exams, but ways can be found to deal with that.
