When specifying requirements to the equipment discipline in pipeline design, how is the size of the elliptical hole at the bottom of the sliding end support of the heat exchanger determined?
This was determined by the equipment team itself; the bearing standards for that team include these values. Once the equipment specifications are finalized, they are sent back to the process engineering team.
