What to do if Aspen doesn’t have the material properties for the required material?

The physical properties of methyl carbamate are not available in AspenPlus, nor are they found in ordinary property data manuals. May I ask which property manuals or databases provide the most comprehensive data on these properties? This post was last edited by zb713258 on 2009-4-17 at 18:04
I imported the structure of methyl carbamate into AspenPlus and estimated all the missing physical properties based on that structure, but the results were very poor and clearly incorrect
Which deviations are relatively large? Should boiling point and vapor pressure data be entered? For material properties that are not available in the Aspen database, information can be obtained through two methods: 1. Property estimation. Log in to the NIST website to conduct searches; to do this, you need to enter information such as Name/Formula/CAS number or Structure on the webpage, in order to obtain data such as IR and MS spectra. http://webbook.nist.gov/chemistry/index.html.en-us.en
