The methane content in the gas is an important indicator for determining the furnace temperature of the gasifier. Especially in the early stages of startup, its accuracy and reliability are higher than the CO2 content. Then its influencing factors are the oxygen-to-coal ratio and the amount of steam entering the gasification furnace. It can be analyzed from the reactions that occur in the gasifier.
First of all, it has something to do with the coal type, and then it has something to do with the operating temperature. The rest is not familiar.
1. Type of coal. Coal with a low degree of coalification has a high volatile content, and the carbonization product contains methane. 2. Operating temperature. The level of CH4 in the crude gas of dry entrained bed coal gasification is 30~200PPM. Of course, the crude coal gas contains more hydrogen in the crude syngas of the carbon polyhydrocarbon steam reforming process.
