We now have a vertical storage tank with a diameter of 900mm and a height of 1600mm. It has standard oval heads at both ends. Now we plan to open a manhole in the tank. The diameter is about 400mm. There are six pipelines at the top and three pipelines at the bottom. Please ask an expert for advice.: Where is the appropriate location to open such a manhole?
It is OK to open it in a place convenient for maintenance personnel.
For easy maintenance, just open it on the cylindrical wall of the container, in the middle. It mainly depends on the convenience of maintenance, not much else.

For such a small piece of equipment, there shouldn't be a manhole on the head. Instead, it should be on the equipment cylinder at a height that makes it easy for people to get in and out.

The side cylinder is a place where maintenance personnel can enter and exit freely without climbing.
