Regarding the icons in the piping layout diagram

Question: I’m not from a design field, and I have trouble understanding some codes when looking at pipe layout diagrams. If any of you know how to interpret these codes, please help me out.
Do you mean a single-line diagram, or a PID diagram? If it’s a PID diagram, there are such posts on the forum. Search for it
If there are any diagrams you can’t understand, send them over so everyone can take a look
The simplest way is to look at the legend; I’m not from a design field either
First, look at the cover page of the drawing; there are introductions and explanations on it! ! ! You can check it on the design description page in the preliminary design! ! !
The process should come with a legend for explanation; this needs to be understood first. Regarding other questions, I think it’s best to ask others first if you don’t understand something; trying to figure it out on your own is exhausting and doesn’t yield good results.
Find some construction drawings to take a look at.
It’s not a PID; it’s a process flow diagram. It shows the spatial arrangement of equipment and pipes, and those who work in design should be familiar with this
Each set of design drawings includes a general description sheet with various legends; take a close look at it
Different design institutes use different legends; if something is unclear, one can also check the process requirements.
