I have been in Haichuan for a long time, but I have been diving. I didn’t expect that the first time I spoke here was to ask my friends for help. Haha, I feel a little ashamed! Let’s get back to the point. Let me introduce myself first. I was born in a rural area in the west. Like most of my peers, I went to elementary school, junior high school, and high school. I felt bad after taking the college entrance examination, so I irresponsibly signed up for a job. Later I studied chemical engineering, which was a continuation of the worst chemistry test in the college entrance examination, and then I lived in chaos for four years. When I was looking for a job, I didn't think about what kind of life I wanted to live. I simply thought that since I studied chemical engineering, I would go to a chemical factory, so I came to the chemical factory where I work now. It has been almost a year since I came to work. I slowly got to know this society and my job, and started to think about some issues. Only then did I realize how naive I was before and how irresponsible I was to myself and my family. My current position is in the urea workshop of the ammonia synthesis system. I work three shifts and my life is not regular. At that time, urea was also distributed by the company, and there was no process of self-selection. The college students who joined the factory a few years ago are now doing well, and the company is developing very fast. If you stay here down-to-earth, you should be able to do well in a few years. But when I think that everything I do now seems to be a mistake, and it was not something I decided to do after careful consideration, I feel very worried and worried that I will regret it in the future. In addition, due to the special nature of chemical plants, it is difficult for those who work in production here to have their own fixed rest time. Because of unstable production, they often get out of bed in the middle of the night and go to the production site. This kind of thing is fine when you are single, but it may not be so good after you get married. Also, we attach great importance to corporate culture training here, and often hold various meetings to promote and implement corporate culture. In addition to various other meetings, there are so many meetings to attend, and it often feels like there is no time to rest. I have also thought about choosing a new job. This is a small city (neither near home nor near school) and there are not many opportunities. However, facing the current employment pressure, I don’t have the courage to resign and look for a job elsewhere. All this makes me a little irritable now and I don’t know what to do. I hope seniors can give me some advice! Extremely grateful!
It can be seen from your description that your company has spent a lot of effort to retain talents. Personal development and the fate of the company are closely linked. I think the most important thing you should do now is not to think about the pain of working three shifts. You should also know that the real workers who work three shifts are at the bottom. As long as you can pay attention to learning through work * , master work-related knowledge and skills, and act smarter in front of leaders. I believe that in two years you will gradually start to no longer need to continue working in three shifts. It is indeed an unwise choice to resign now, especially for people with weak diplomas, insufficient connections, and inexperience, it is really difficult to find another job. I seem to see my own shadow in you. I didn’t like the major I studied in college, but in the end I found a job relying on this major. After working, I needed to study again. * * learned knowledge. Faced with this situation, my way to deal with it is to practice my English and gain exposure to other professional knowledge while doing my job well. In addition, I save money regularly every month as an investment in my future continuing education! It is recommended that you stabilize your mentality first, think about what you can do and what you are good at, and then decide on your next choice.
