After nitrogen drying is completed, how much water remains in the system? The required water content for low-temperature methanol washing is less than 2%; to meet this standard, about 25 tons of water would be needed. It seems unlikely that there could be such an amount of water in the system. In my opinion, this is not possible. Based on what some companies that are already in operation have experienced, they continue to function even when the water content exceeds the specified limits. Furthermore, when using methanol circulation for water removal, so much methanol is circulated and then discharged there, making it difficult to handle it later on. Moreover, it seems that those in the same industry who drive vehicles generally don’t take this step. Of course, from a technical perspective, it’s better to do it rather than not, but from an economic standpoint, I don’t think it’s necessary.
