[I took the exam in the first half of last year. I’m posting this to reassure everyone not to worry – as long as you put in effort, good results will definitely be achieved.] 】 Without listening or writing tasks, it’s really quite simple, to be honest. But if one doesn’t use English for a long time due to work circumstances, one might become a bit rusty. I didn’t buy any textbooks; I downloaded a few sets of practice questions from the internet. I did two sets of them one week before the exam, and my scores were 87 and 94 respectively. I felt pretty good about my performance, so I didn’t do any more practice. During the exam, I found that some of the passages were ones I had read before, but the questions were different. However, they weren’t difficult at all; I’m sure it’s a piece of cake for those who have passed the CET-4. Just need to be careful when answering the questions.
