[I took the exam in the first half of last year. I’m posting this to reassure everyone not to worry – as long as you put in effort, good results will definitely be achieved.] 】 Without listening or writing tasks, it’s really quite simple, to be honest. But if one doesn’t use English for a long time due to work circumstances, one might become a bit rusty. I didn’t buy any textbooks; I downloaded a few sets of practice questions from the internet. I did two sets of them one week before the exam, and my scores were 87 and 94 respectively. I felt pretty good about my performance, so I didn’t do any more practice. During the exam, I found that some of the passages were ones I had read before, but the questions were different. However, they weren’t difficult at all; I’m sure it’s a piece of cake for those who have passed the CET-4. Just need to be careful when answering the questions. In summary, it is very important to do two sets of practice tests. This post was last edited by vanessalwy on 2009-4-18 18:12]
Impressive, really impressive! I’d be happy to give some guidance!
What exam? A? B? C? When will the results be available? Where can I check them?
It’s a shame we don’t take the professional English exam for this title; otherwise we could learn from the original poster
Can’t the grades be checked until May? You knew it so quickly? The original poster, please explain!
What are you talking about? Why are there two scores, 87 and 94? What does that mean?:handshake
Aren’t the exam results available only after two months? Could it be that the poster has a ‘prophet’ guiding them? :o
It seems that the scores can’t be checked yet! But I believe in the poster’s ability
When exactly can everyone check their scores? How many years is each of the A, B, and C grades valid for? This post was last edited by ly028 on 2009-4-17 at 17:05.]
What kind of exam is it, and why is there a 0.5-point difference?
Yes, it’s not difficult; everyone doesn’t need to worry.
Each question in the reading comprehension is worth 1.5 points, which explains why there is a value of 0.5.
Isn’t reading comprehension 3 points per question? ? What’s going on?
I’ll sign up next year; my reading speed is very slow, I’m worried! :(
In Shanghai, the results can only be checked after two months. The original poster must have used connections to get their results. If they took the Level A exam, I’m really impressed by how many tests they took!
First of all, congratulations to the original poster! Compared to the College English Test Band 4, the CNPC English proficiency test does not include listening or writing sections, making it less difficult.
