Regarding leaks in the cyclic hydrogen compressor

Our factory is currently calibrating the hydrogen press, and it seems that there is some significant leakage from the filler. Could that expert tell us what level of leakage is considered normal? Is it possible to quantify it?
I’m not sure if the compressor has a temperature measurement for the packing or a detection system for the temperature of the leaking gas; if it does, the manufacturer will provide the interlock values. Furthermore, there is always some leakage from the packing; as long as it has no impact on safety or the manufacturing process, it’s not a major issue. Additionally, the packing needs to be conditioned to reach its optimal operating condition.
The standard set in our workshop is to touch the high-voltage vent line with your hand; if it’s hot to the touch, the fitter in charge is required to handle it.
There is no specific quantitative figure; the inspection simply involves checking the low-pressure flare line. In other words, if the temperature of the flare line is high, it indicates a large leak, and it needs to be repaired.
Aren’t there gas alarm detectors?
