Since the second half of last year, the performance of most enterprises has not been good, and the incomes of workers in some enterprises (including state-owned enterprises) have declined significantly on a year-on-year basis. My company is a private enterprise with modest profits. In the long term, the owner has not decided to cut workers’ salaries – how does your company handle this?
In my workplace, employees’ incomes are currently decreasing month by month. We can understand that the overall performance is poor due to the significant environmental impact. What we find hard to understand is the excessive number of leaders. In a state-owned enterprise with fewer than 50,000 employees, there are over 10 officials at the department level (at the general manager’s rank), more than 400 officials at the factory/branch level, and an countless number of officials at the section level. Moreover, those officials at or above the factory/branch level receive a monthly car allowance (a substantial amount; it’s said to be at least 2,000 yuan per month). All leaders, including those in administrative positions, enjoy very high bonus rates, the highest in their respective organizations. On the other hand, those who work hard at the grassroots level and actually create wealth receive ever smaller amounts of compensation – this is something we cannot understand.
There was a slight decline, but not much. :)
Our company will not cut salaries, offer no holidays, and will not lay off employees!
In our state-owned enterprise, salaries haven’t been reduced; weekend breaks have been increased, and overtime pay has been cut, allowing everyone to get some rest.
No decrease, and no increase either? Leave as is
Fortunately, we haven’t had to take holidays yet, there have been no layoffs or salary cuts; a 200 increase is considered lucky. The key point is that the manager has changed – our company has only 70 or 80 employees~~~~~
(When production increased) Managers’ salaries rose significantly, while workers’ salaries increased only a little. (When production decreased) Managers’ salaries dropped slightly, and workers went home with barely enough money for basic living expenses
Financial crisis. . . . Salary is only increasing by 5% this year :( I heard from colleagues that the bonus seems to be only for two months :(
