Writing of pipeline grades

When labeling pipes, the pipe specifications include the pressure rating, sequence number, and pipe material. For example, PW0108-25LIB (L1B). In an example I saw in a book, it was unclear whether the three letters that follow are letters or whether the middle one in the parentheses is a number The parentheses are my addition; I’m not sure which style is correct. Thank you
Refer to the Unified Regulations on the Content and Depth of Construction Drawings for Chemical Process Design HG 20519-1992: L should represent pressure, 1 denotes the sequence number, and B indicates the category of the pipe material! ! !
