Problems with multi-tube cyclone separators?

If the backwash water system at the inlet of the multi-tube cyclone separator, which is used to remove impurities from natural gas, is removed, what impact will it have on the separation efficiency?
Does no one know? Is this very difficult?
Send a picture please – is the backwash water at the inlet? I’ve seen backwash water at the outlet, but I’ve never seen anything like what you mentioned at the inlet!
