I’ve only been using this software for a short time. When designing a Simple Tower, it is required to enter TITLE PROB=SHORT DIME METRIC PRINT RATE=M, INPUT=NONE, STRM=PART, and PROP STRM=1. Could you please tell me how to enter these values?
The original poster didn’t explain it clearly; please provide more details so everyone can see.
What the book requires is to enter the following values: TITLE PROB=SHORT DIME METRIC PRINT RATE=M, INPUT=NONE, STRM=PART COMP LIBID 1, N2/2, C1/3, C2/4, C3/5, IC4/6, NC4/*7, IC5/8, NC5/9, NC6/10, NC7 THERMO METH SYST=SRK STREAM PROP STRM=1, LFRACT=0.7, PRESS=31, RATE=400, /* COMP=0.03/44.59/19.83/19.09/4.16/ */ 4.60/1.68/1.16/2.96/1.90 UNIT SHORT UID=D101 FEED 1 PROD, STRM=2 PRES=30, PHASE=V, PERC=65 PROD STRM=3, PRES=30, PHASE=L COND TYPE=PART EVAL MODEL=CONV, KEYL=3, KEYH=4 SPEC STREAM=3, COMP=3, RATE, RATIO, COMP=4, VALUE=0.025 SPEC STREAM=3, COMP=4, RATE, RATIO, STREAM=1, VALUE=0.99 END The following part is not required: TITLE PROB=SHORT DIME METRIC PRINT RATE=M, INPUT=NONE, STRM=PART STRM=2
The author won’t do it; this text can be completely ignored – there’s no need to enter it either, as it’s just a description of some settings. “TITLE PROB=SHORT” indicates that the module is a Shortcut module, with SHORT being the abbreviation for Shortcut. ““DIME METRIC” refers to a unit system that is METRIC, where DIME is an abbreviation for DIMENSION. “PRINT RATE=M,INPUT=NONE,STRM=PART” should correspond to the text “PROP STRM=1, LFRACT=0.7, PRESS=31,RATE=400, * COMP=0.03/44.59/19.83/19.09/4.16/ * 4.60/1.68/1.16/2.96/1.90”. M should mean mol, right? I’m using a different version from the original poster, so there might be some discrepancies, but it should be more or less the same. In short, these are just descriptive details; the original poster doesn’t need to worry about them.
