For the main substation, when it handles both transformation and power distribution, is it more appropriate to call it a main substation or a main substation for transformation and power distribution? Distribution station: A facility that contains only high-voltage distribution equipment used for switching and distributing electrical energy; there is no main transformer on the busbars. The location of a substation should be determined through technical and economic comparisons, in accordance with the following requirements: 1. It should be located near the load centers; II. Easy access for power inlet and outlet ; III. Near the power source side ; IV. Easy equipment transportation ; V. It should not be installed in areas with severe vibrations or high temperatures ; VI. (The total transformation capacity can include the total power distribution system; however, the total power distribution system does not include the total transformation capacity, as the main power distribution station does not have transformers.) 2. It should be located as close as possible to the load center, but in the chemical industry it is usually placed at the edge of the factory site. It is generally called the main transformer, as the main transformer usually does not supply power directly to the load. Commonly, the main substation is located near the factory, while it is less common to find it at the load center.
Large ones are called substation stations, medium-sized ones are called substation buildings, and small ones are called distribution rooms.
