Friends of cracking, we often talk about the high iron ions in the cracking tail oil, which is caused by chlorine corrosion. The excessive chlorine content in the raw materials for reforming and pre-hydrogenation causes the reaction product heat exchanger tube wall to corrode and penetrate, so a dechlorination reactor is added. Why is there no dechlorination reactor after the cracking reaction?
The pressure of hydrocracking is much higher than the pressure of reforming pre-hydrogenation. The cost of adding a reactor is very high. It is better to add a dechlorination protective agent in the upper part of the bed. Personal opinion, for reference only
Try to solve the water injection and new hydrogen quality requirements from the source.
(1) The current pressure resistance level of dechlorination agents is low, generally not greater than 8.0MPa, while the pressure of hydrocracking is usually greater than 10.0MPa. (2) In order to reduce chlorine corrosion, it is necessary to control the chlorine content in raw materials, including the chlorine content in hydrogen.
Generally, the amount of reformed hydrogen is not very large. On the other hand, reforming equipment generally has this tank.
The chlorine contained in the raw materials is usually organic chlorine, which reacts early in the hydrogenation reactor to generate chloride ions, which is highly acidic, so there will be corrosion problems.
