GBZ 2.1-2007 Occupational Exposure Limits for Hazardous Factors in the Workplace – Part 1: Chemical Hazardous Factors specifies a MAC value of 10 mg/m3 for hydrogen sulfide. The emission standards set out in DB11/501-2007, Beijing’s Air Pollutant Emission Standards, specify a value of 5 mg/m3 for the II period. Why are the air emission standards higher than the occupational exposure limits?
