Regarding the selection and installation of the root valve in gas-liquid actuated actuators, I would appreciate it if anyone who has such information could provide it to me. I’ve been searching for days and finally managed to find some information, but it’s all in journals that require payment; I don’t even have the money to pay for them right now. Next week, I need to organize and summarize the information to provide technical support for our own root valves. I’m begging!
There are no specific guidelines for selecting the valve at the root in this case; the choice is determined by the installation location. If it is to be buried, a welded type is required, while if it is installed on the ground, a threaded type can be used. However, ball valves are the best choice in most cases
We also chose ball valves, with the size reduced from 1" to 1/2". The valve core is made of stainless steel, while the valve body is made of carbon steel. I don’t understand why? Is the material choice mainly based on cost considerations? What caliber?
Our root valves have been manufactured; the valve core is made of 316 material, while the valve body is made of A105 material. Both welded and threaded ends are available, and they can be connected to 1\" carbon steel pipes. This will save various users a significant amount of money by replacing imported root valves.
