If you react quickly and make swift adjustments, there won’t be significant fluctuations. However, this places a heavy strain on the equipment, especially the air compressor. It will be fine as long as your ATC system is able to keep up with the speed of your adjustments. Vibration is a key parameter in the operation of equipment; it has a direct impact on its performance, but it doesn’t have much to do with starting the equipment in cold or hot conditions.
For air separation systems equipped with air compressors, vibration is generally greater during cold start-up compared to hot start-up.
