For the medium-pressure steam shaft seal system before starting the turbine, should steam be supplied first and then the shaft seal extraction system activated, or should the shaft seal extraction system be activated first and then steam be supplied?
For cold start, the pumping system can be activated first, followed by the shaft seal steam； For hot start, the shaft seal steam must be supplied first, followed by the evacuation system ；
If it is a condensing steam turbine, the vacuum in the condenser should be evacuated first! Perform continuous shaft turning, then supply steam to the shaft seal, start the shaft seal extractor, and open the turbine emergency stop valve to begin low-speed warm-up!
