Design of steam silencers

These days, steam silencers are commonly encountered (their working principle involves multi-stage pressure reduction through small holes, with micropores playing a role in suction). Does any teacher know how to design a steam silencer? Are there any reference materials? I’m asking for help; thanks in advance.
