In petrochemical projects, the power demand of the wastewater treatment plant is around 1000 kW, which corresponds to multiple low-voltage electrical devices. Is it reasonable to supply power at low voltage from the main transformer, given that the distance is approximately 350 meters? Your statement is too vague – is it one unit or multiple units totaling 1000 kW? 350 meters can also use low voltage if there are multiple motors that are not high-power
Supplying a 1000KW load with low-voltage power within a range of 350 meters is also cost-effective in terms of investment and operating expenses. It is also more economical to use only one 1000KW AC motor, powered by a low-voltage inverter of 690V!
Of course, a sewage treatment plant has multiple electrical loads; the poster is likely referring to the total low-voltage load of the plant being 1000 kW. Low-voltage power supply is also an option, but if the load is high and this results in the need for excessive amounts of cables, it is more reasonable to use a single transformer at the wastewater treatment plant.
Our experience: As an independent production unit, with a distance of over 200m and a load of over 1000KVA, it should be set up independently.
