The ammonia content in circulating methanol can be controlled by adjusting the amount of shift gas scrubbing water in the carbon monoxide process and venting the hydrogen sulfide heat exchanger bypass (pressure relief bypass of the regeneration tower) in the low-temperature methanol scrubbing system. If necessary, the operating temperature of the ammonia cooler at the top of the hot regeneration tower can be appropriately increased so that most of the ammonia is discharged from the system with hydrogen sulfide gas. I think it should be discharged from the bottom of the distillation tank at the top of column 4.
Discharge from the sulfur return pump outlet of the thermal regeneration tower. The acid gas coming out of the thermal regeneration tower has the highest ammonia content.
Ammonia discharge is mainly discharged from the top of the regeneration tower, together with acid gas, or methanol is discharged from the top of the regeneration tower.
