Are combustible gas detectors subject to mandatory calibration?

Is it mandatory to have combustible gas detectors calibrated? Which standard applies? Are portable combustible gas detectors also subject to mandatory inspection? What about the oxygen meter?

This is not a mandatory test. However, there are certain requirements regarding relevant counterparts; for example, according to SH3063—1999 Code for Design of Detection and Alarm Systems for Flammable and Toxic Gases in Petrochemical Enterprises, 3.0.5 states that flammable gas detection and alarm devices must obtain certification for manufacturing as measuring instruments from **designated agencies and authorized testing units, as well as certification for explosion-proof performance and fire safety. Toxic gas detection alarms must have manufacturing certification for measuring instruments issued by **designated agencies and authorized testing units. Explosion-proof toxic gas detection and alarm devices must also undergo explosion-proof performance certification by **designated agencies and authorized testing units.
Do toxic gas detectors also follow the same regulations?
All of our company’s alarms, laboratory analysis instruments, etc. are inspected once a year by the Technical Supervision Bureau, at a cost; isn’t this equivalent to mandatory inspection?
Check the **list of items subject to mandatory inspection; if it’s on that list, the item must be sent for inspection, while if it’s not, you can decide whether to have it inspected. After all, you install a detector surely for safety reasons, and even if an item isn’t required to undergo mandatory inspection, it’s still best to have it inspected in accordance with those requirements.
It should be a mandatory testing item; otherwise, who knows if the results are accurate or not.
