As is well known, there are many fires involving centrifuges, especially when they are first turned on. Are there any effective measures to prevent such incidents? Does anyone have any relevant experience to share?
Close the outlet valve and start the motor.
For centrifuges handling flammable media, it is important to inform the manufacturer at the time of ordering that in such cases a small amount of nitrogen must be injected into the centrifuge to maintain a slight positive pressure. The domestic centrifuge industry seems to pay insufficient attention to this aspect.
