It should work. Since the original tank has a fixed roof, it is better to use an internal floating roof with nitrogen sealing without removing the roof; moreover, it is necessary to check whether the inner wall surface of the tank is suitable for installing an internal floating roof.

When installing the seal, it is necessary to consider ensuring that the tape overlaps the tank wall on both the top and bottom rings, and to calculate the impact of the tank wall thickness. Just adjust the width appropriately when installing the tape at the bottom, and that’s it. It is best to apply an internal anti-corrosion coating to the tank walls, in order to reduce frictional resistance and ensure a more effective seal when the sealing tape is flipped up and down.
It is also necessary to check whether the manhole is a core-equipped manhole; such manholes are commonly used in floating and internal floating roof tanks to maintain the smoothness of the tank’s inner wall.
