Are compressed air pipelines also considered pressure vessels? Do all pipes have to be seamless pipes?

Looking at the Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment, the concepts of pressure pipelines and pressure vessels are different. Welded steel pipes can also be used for pressure pipelines; for example, in long-distance natural gas pipelines, spiral-welded steel pipes are employed.
Pipes cannot be considered containers; if they have a DN25 size and a pressure greater than 0.1 MPa, then they can be classified as pressure pipes
A pipe is just a pipe; it does not belong to the category of pressure vessels. Pressure vessels come with a pressure vessel manufacturing certificate, while pipelines have a pressure pipeline installation certificate. These are two separate concepts; as for whether seamless pipes must be used for compressed air pipelines, the answer can be found in the principles of pressure pipeline design. I have seen before that in some factories, the compressed air process pipelines use galvanized pipes (with a smaller diameter). This is for reference only and shall not serve as a basis for your answer.
Do all compressed air pipelines need to be seamless pipes? The compressor design manual specifies that in medium and low-pressure pipelines, carbon steel, alloy steel seamless pipes, and welded steel pipes are generally used ； When calculating the wall thickness, the weld coefficient is 1.0 for seamless steel pipes, 0.8 for straight-seam welded steel pipes, and 0.6 for spiral-seam welded steel pipes.
Compressed air pipelines are not considered pressure vessels; rather, they belong to the category of pressure pipelines. They can be made of seamless steel pipes or welded steel pipes. The diameter of such pipelines is determined primarily based on the flow rate within them, which is generally in the range of 10–12. The pressure required can be set according to the actual pressure needs of the production equipment, and thus the pressure of the air compressor can be adjusted accordingly.
I remember that in a review we had, it was stated that only pressure pipes with a diameter of DN150 or more are considered pressure pipelines
