A few questions regarding construction adhesives: I am currently working with PVA formaldehyde-free adhesives, and I have a few questions I’d like to ask first: (1) PVA tends to condense at low temperatures; what are some good ways to address this issue? (2) When PAM is added to PVA, stringing tends to occur; what are the solutions? (3) What kind of thickener is suitable and will not affect low-temperature condensation? (4) What are some methods for preparing aldehyde-free PVA construction adhesives? That one is better; it would be ideal if more details were provided, rather than just mentioning cross-linking modification, esterification, and etherification.
