Syngas peroxide is generally caused by an excess of oxygen being added, which does not react completely within the reaction time and then enters the subsequent system. At this time, the oxygen-to-coal ratio is definitely high, and the temperature of the gasifier is also on the high side. If this is detected, please provide guidance on how to address it promptly. As for transformations, I don’t know much about them; I’m still learning it.
If the oxygen content in the gas exceeds 1.0%, the gas supply must be cut off immediately. The main reasons for the high oxygen content are: accumulation of deposits in the gasification furnace ; Internal leakage of the valve, etc.
There should also be a range for the oxygen peroxide in the syngas; if there’s too much oxygen peroxide, wouldn’t it explode right in the carbon scrubber, leaving no time for any conversion process?
The peroxide oxygen content may not be very high, and it has not reached the explosive limit; however, for the catalyst used in this transformation process, it can no longer handle such conditions.
