The anti-surge control system for the compressors we use is from CCC, but on the display screens at the control station, the trends for some indicators have suddenly disappeared; others are still visible, but the monitoring data continues to change. We’re not sure what the cause is.
The reason shown as no trend is that the trend recording data has been lost, but the real-time data is still available. It indicates that the historical data has not been saved; therefore, I suggest you check whether there are any issues with the configuration of the historical trend for that tag, such as whether the sampling time and data storage settings are correct.
The solution is to restart the machine, and the problem is resolved temporarily, but this is only temporary; the same issue will reappear after some time. There are two operation stations, and this problem has not occurred on one of them. I’m a bit confused: L
There may be the following reasons: OPC issues, or problems with the historical server, so it needs to be restarted. Check if there are any process conflicts.
Our company has a similar situation; we also ask the manufacturers to handle it

I haven’t used CCC yet, but I’ve encountered the issue mentioned by the original poster in Germany’s GHH system. In other words, it means that the amount of memory that the system can use to store historical data is limited, and the stack will not be automatically cleared. If the data is full, no more data will be stored. The solution is to locate the historical database files and regularly delete old data. Or simply restart it (it’s not clear whether deleting it will work with just one restart). In response to this phenomenon, when ordering new systems, we generally pay close attention to the way data is stored.
